Meet Nicole Farber, LMFT

Reconnect with your natural sense of balance and authenticity.

A grounded, relational EMDR therapist supporting Adults who already understand their patterns—but still feel stuck in them.

A grounded, calm EMDR therapist who works with women and parents on supporting them with trauma and anxiety recovery.

I’m here to help you breathe again—to soften what’s heavy and connect with the steady ground within you.

Here, you can rest, heal, and begin finding your way back to calm and clarity.

You might already understand your patterns—where they come from, why they show up, how they play out in your relationships—
but still find yourself caught in the same cycles, with a deep longing to feel lighter, freer, and more at ease.

You’ve come to the right place.

I’m Nicole Farber, and I support high-functioning adults who have experienced trauma and anxiety—especially those who are self-aware, reflective, and ready to go deeper, even if you're not entirely sure what that means yet, you just know you want something more.

Many of my clients have already done therapy before. They get their pattern, maybe they even know where they come from, but they’re still feeling stuck in them.

Together, we move beyond just understanding why—and begin to gently shift how those patterns actually live in your body and mind.

→If you’re curious about how this deeper work happens, you can read more about my approach here.

I help my clients find clarity, balance, and self-trust—not by pushing or forcing change, but by creating the conditions where real healing can unfold.

We begin by building a foundation of safety and awareness—helping you notice how your past is showing up in your present life.

From there, we use modalities like EMDR and IFS to process and integrate what you’ve been carrying in your body that shows up in your day-to-day life and relationships.

As we work together, you may begin to notice:

  • Less reactivity in moments that used to feel overwhelming

  • A deeper sense of calm and internal steadiness

  • More clarity and self-trust in your decisions

  • A shift out of old patterns that once felt automatic

My style

I am dedicated to helping my clients reclaim peace, confidence, and freedom in their lives.

My training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with years of experience supporting high-functioning adults, trauma survivors, parents, and highly sensitive individuals, allows me to work at a depth that goes beyond surface-level change.

I tend to notice complex patterns—often the ones that are hard to see when you're in it.

The parts of you that feel reactive, protective, overwhelmed, or stuck…
and the deeper threads underneath them—how they formed, why they’re still here, and how other parts of you might be responding to them.

When we sit together, we slow that down.

Not to force change, but to notice what’s happening—in your mind and in your body—as it’s unfolding.

This isn’t about thinking things through or trying to figure it all out.
It’s a guided process.

We work with what comes up in real time—emotions, sensations, the urge to push something away—so your system can begin to process and move through what’s been stuck.

Not by trying to think differently, but by having the space to process, release, and have a different experience— to experience yourself and your history, in a different way.

I’m not the therapist who just sits back and listens—I’ll guide when needed, bring things in if you’re not sure where to start, and keep track of the process with you. It’s collaborative, and it’s okay if it’s a little winding—we’ll navigate it together.

A lot of people tell me they feel really seen here—not just for what’s on the surface, but for the parts of them that don’t usually get named or understood.

For clients who want to move through this work more deeply or in a more focused way, I also offer EMDR intensives[EMDR Intensives Page]

My guiding principles

Safety

We begin by creating a space where your nervous system can exhale — where you feel grounded, seen, and never rushed.

Compassion

Every part of you has a reason for being; we’ll meet each one with warmth and curiosity rather than judgment.

Awareness

Together, we’ll deepen your understanding of what’s happening inside — noticing patterns, sensations, and the stories your body holds.

Integration

Healing means bringing all of you back together — mind, body, and heart — so you can move through life with greater ease and wholeness.
